Support of the 16th Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) International Conference that will be held in Chicago, IL, July 22-26, 2015. The conference includes thought leaders in the movement and community who care about healing, science, community, personal transformation, and social change.

The intent of this activity, which will take a phased approach, is to provide the mechanisms for listening, gathering of information, and creating systems for the ongoing monitoring of various media, resources and “voices” to inform both our immediate and long-term inquiry. Scanning and mapping will help us identify the other individuals and entities doing this work in the world and the context in which it is occurring.

This project will organize a convening of thought leaders around key questions related to the sense of the sacred. The convening will offer an opportunity to test our language on sense of the sacred with a group of cross-disciplinary experts, and will help validate whether this is an accessible point of entry for people across various cultures and backgrounds.

To conduct a literature review and research to help us understand the role spirituality plays in the workplace, workplace spirituality and its historical context, current application, and emerging trends.

To contract Dr. Cassi Vieten and three of her students/staff to conduct a comprehensive literature review to examine previous theory and research exploring different models of transformation, i.e. human, spiritual, and consciousness transformation. While having a specific focus on transformations that are stimulated by, involve or result in a "sense of the sacred," they will stay open and thorough while gathering different pathways/models that have been written and researched on.

The Human Foundation, a unique and pioneering organization in Egypt, is the identified exemplar for its effort and focus on building inner peace, openness, self confidence, and human compassion in children and youth through intense self examination and creative methods of spiritual reflections.

Support to Foundation for Shamanic Studies, Inc. to help fund a biographic video of Michael Harner, a pioneer in the field of shamanism who made an extraordinary contribution to cross cultural work integrating the inner life with the outer work of healing and service in the world. Michael is highly respected as an anthropologist, teacher and practitioner in this field.

Support for a one-day convening of leaders from the Building Trades. This request grows out of a current Labor, Trades and Crafts FAC case - #3344 Building MINDS - that focuses on infusing the principles of values, vocation, and volunteerism into the building trades’ apprenticeship program.
