Auburn Fellows Seasons Retreat
Funding and authorization to host the Auburn Inaugural Fellows Cohort at the Fetzer Institute in the fall of 2015 for a Seasons Retreat. These fellows are faith leaders dedicated to building multi-faith movements for justice in the United States.
Chaplains
A Seasons convening would gather educational consultants and chaplains with a two-fold goal: (1) to work collaboratively on development of educational materials and outreach plans for the film; and (2) to dialogue and explore key ideas related to the experience of the sacred.
Spirit of Humanity Forum
The objective of this collaboration is to support the April 2017 SoH Forum, which will encourage leaders and changemakers to explore what it means to live from the “inside-out” as well as the “outside-in,” and how this relational way of being supports a global transformation from fear and separation towards love and wholeness.
Contemplative Pedagogy in Higher Education
Spiritual Community in Higher Education is a two-year effort to identify the degree to which contemplative pedagogy is extant in higher education; determine the impact of contemplative pedagogy on students, faculty, and administration; and, ascertain the relevance and feasibility of piloting contemplative networks on campus in support of a broader contemplative movement in higher education.
The Shared Sacred Story for a Global Movement for Spiritual Transformation
Funding for the October 12-15, 2015, convening at Seasons that will bring together leaders and thinkers from across traditions to test the proposition that there are powerful aligned narratives, grounded in each of the traditions, that can serve as common ground for a global movement. The papal encyclical Laudato Si’: On Care for our Common Home will serve as a resource and catalyst for the discussions.
Village Science to Express Love
Based in Honduras and featuring Village Science, the project aims to resuscitate non-functional, virus infested computer labs within three elementary schools in Colinas de Suiza, Honduras by working with community leaders, teachers, and students with the goal of developing a sustainable maintenance program to allow continued communal use.
Contribution of Spiritual Communities Towards Individual Transformation and Peacefulness
Funding support for the 2017 Spirit of Humanity (SoH) Forum and to develop and implement their own sub-theme within the context of the overarching title “Caring for a World in Transition.”
