A collaboration with the G20 Interfaith Forum (IF20) to conduct a global scan of youth voices. The purpose of this listening tour is to illuminate the existing needs, essential supports, and unique challenges experienced in education from the youth perspective following the COVID-19 pandemic. We expect that this listening tour will articulate a vision for education from a global collective of students (ages 14-18) which will inform leaders’ decisions at the G20 Summit, Fetzer’s Education strategy and partnerships, and ultimately the transformation of education post-COVID.

Support to build on the success of CARE LAB’s Three Dinners pilot initiative. This partnership will catalyze CARE LAB to reach up to 50% of U.S. Senate Chiefs of Staff with care-centered concepts and skills over the next year (June 2022 – July 2023). CARE LAB was founded in 2020 with a mission to bring people and ideas together, across divides, to create a care-centered world by building trusted bipartisan and bridging relationships on Capitol Hill, in grassroots communities, and among social change experts.

The Institute’s spirituality study was an examination of spirituality in America today that covered the topic with greater depth and breadth than any other contemporary research. The study was developed with a group of research advisors and included a robust qualitative stage that employed the novel technique of “drawing spirituality” and a survey addressing many aspects of spirituality, religion, and their connection to civic life. The report and subsequent analysis has been released over the past several years and resulted in thousands of engagements.

Funding to support the Amoris Christi Institute’s interlocking initiatives: Anointed and Sent and the Institute for Excellence. Amoris Christi, an affiliate of Jesus Youth (a pontifically recognized Catholic movement), labors for the spiritual development of young people (predominantly young people of color) who have the capacity to be leaders and influencers in their spheres. Aligned with the charism of the movement, Amoris Christi serves young people and leaders through communities of practice, spiritual integrated leadership development, and research.

The proposed project will provide general operating support to Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference (SDPC), a highly respected national network that trains, organizes, and engages in deep theological conversations with Black and Brown seminarians and pastors. The yearly Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference event creates opportunities for over 300 funders, religious leaders, academics, and community members to gather and discuss critical issues related to faith, spirituality, and coming together across differences.

This partnership will catalyze a movement of thought and practice leaders to strengthen their shared ‘first Love’ of Christ-centered transformation to be leaven for their broader, global ecosystem of humanitarian relief. This project will incubate a community of individual and organizational spiritual and professional formation.
