What’s Healing About Lighting Candles?
This piece is part of a series offered by the GilChrist team during the month of October about practices of healing, in honor of GilChrist’s 25th anniversary on October 15.
October Practice: Vision at the Great Turning Point
This month, our partner Spirituality & Practice launches a wonderful new resource: Practicing Democracy Conversation Cards. This set of 52 cards includes quotes from a broad spectrum of national leaders, both historical and contemporary. The cards are designed to encourage reflection, conversation, and action.
Sharing Spiritual Heritage Report
Sharing Spiritual Heritage is a report based on several years of research and conversations that are breathing life into the question: How will we hold onto the rich teachings of our historic faith and wisdom traditions while applying them creatively in today’s time?
If you are a spiritual leader/innovator who feels a little on the fringe; if you are studying theology and the changing religious landscape; if you are seeking spiritual nourishment in new and life-giving ways, this report may be for you.
Labyrinth Walking
Guests are welcomed to sign up to walk the labyrinth at GilChrist, as a way to celebrate our 25th anniversary! Our hope is to have at least one walker per day between October 1-25, to reflect the importance of being present on the land -- particularly in these challenging times.
Please fill out this form or email gilchrist@fetzer.org to indicate what date and time of day you would like to walk the labyrinth.
