The Fetzer Jerusalem Partners project brings together people in Palestine and Israel in a collaboration across religions, races, and ethnicities. The intention of the group is to create a spiritual community, bridge divides, and build peace in a land torn by longstanding conflict.

Images and Voices of Hope (ivoh) and the Fetzer Institute welcome the 2019 class of restorative narrative fellows to the Institute for training and reflection on the year ahead. The 2019 fellows will be learning about reflective practices and restorative narrative, tools they can apply to their creative work and in serving communities with stories of resilience and recovery.

“Imagination is evidence of the divine,” wrote poet and visionary William Blake more than 200 years ago. And yet we experience the world, imagine, and create through our very human bodies. In this retreat designed for artists and dreamers of every ilk, we will drop into the body and connect to the deepest parts of ourselves from which we all too often disassociate in our creative work.

This retreat will facilitate critical group and individual reflection on personal resilience by immersing participants in the review of African-American slave narratives and contemporary critical race theory.

AdvocatesROC recruits cohorts of professionals to study classical philosophical works for reflection to support their personal and professional development. This retreat will facilitate critical group and individual reflection on personal resilience by immersing participants in Stoic philosophy and practice as outlined in the works of Epictetus and Marcus Aurelius.

For many of us concerned with the state of our world, these are challenging times. This retreat will offer an opportunity to reconnect to our internal resources and restore a sense of groundedness, supported by arts exploration and yoga practice. Participants will be invited to practice Kundalini yoga (breathwork, physical postures, and meditation), make art together in community, connect with nature, and process their experience in a group setting. The weekend will include ample time for solitude and quiet reflection on the GilChrist grounds.

This weekend retreat is an invitation to journey inward to balance, energize, and recharge body, mind, and spirit as we move from winter hibernation to spring rejuvenation! We will explore the seven energetic centers called chakras as we dive into this dynamic and contemplative retreat. As we become more familiar with each chakra through yoga, breathwork, journaling, meditation, and chanting, we can open to greater awareness of our innate life force and experience subtle shifts toward greater acceptance, healing, and wholeness.
