Reignite, Reclaim, Rise
This retreat is for women who are tired—not because they’re weak, but because they’ve been carrying too much for too long. If you’re exhausted from the demands of family, work, and the weight of the world, this space is for you.
Over two days, you will be guided through writing, embodiment practices, and deep conversations designed to help you release what drains you, reconnect with what truly nourishes you, and reclaim your energy for yourself—not just for others.
Elementary Teacher Residencies at GilChrist
The Nancy M. and Douglas M. Yeager Family Foundation, in partnership with GilChrist Retreat Center and the Fetzer Institute, is pleased to offer ten self-guided, one-week residencies for preschool through fifth grade teachers from July 15-22. This will mark our 21st summer!
Summer Pause with SoulCollage®
SoulCollage® is a simple, intuitive process of creating many small collages and then giving voice to the images to discover their identity and the wisdom they carry. It is an imaginative, contemplative way to mindfully access the reality of our True Selves. SoulCollage® is a spiritual practice which can lead to self-discovery, an increase in resilience, and discernment. Whether you are new to SoulCollage® or are experienced creating cards, this retreat offers time and space to creatively explore your inner being and the wisdom and blessings available there.

Resilience and Soul Work: Cultivating Courage to Create Inclusive Cultures
When we think of "resilient“ people, we generally think of individuals who adapt well in the face of adversity, trauma, stress, and/or tragedy. Resilience is a capacity that each of us can build within ourselves through our thoughts, behaviors, habits, and actions. The goal of our time together will be to explore strategies to deepen our commitment to live authentically and to undertake challenges to transform cultures to become more just.
Resilience For Transformative Action: Exploring Stoic Virtues and Social Justice
Stoicism is a rich philosophical tradition that emphasizes the importance of cultivating four virtues – wisdom, temperance, courage, and justice – to build our resilience, to live well and to live authentically in the face of life’s challenges. The virtue of Justice specifically acknowledges humanity’s interconnectedness and the importance of action to advance the common good. This retreat will examine Stoic philosophy and practice to explore the relationship between the four Stoic virtues, personal resilience, and transformative action for social justice.
