Additional support for a study that compares the differences between Compassion Cultivation Training (CCT) and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and their consequences on social and interpersonal interactions. Using a combination of laboratory measures and ten-day daily reports of interpersonal interaction coupled with an eight-week follow-up assessment to test lasting effects, it establishes a key empirical link between how one allocates one’s attention to suffering and how one acts compassionately in the wider world.
